How to take part this Christian Aid Week

Thousands of people across the island of Ireland are turning one week into lasting change. Here’s how you can be part of it:

1

Donate what you can

Donate today and help provide vital tools and training so farmers can protect their families from hunger.

2

Fundraise and pay in

Whatever you do, you're turning one week into lasting change.

Once you're done, pay in your fundraising and make sure every pound reaches the families who need it most.

3

Spread the word

Share our stories, pray for the families we work with, and inspire others to stand with communities facing poverty and injustice.

Give hope this Christian Aid Week

Every gift this Christian Aid Week helps families facing poverty and injustice build lasting futures. Will you give today?

What is Christian Aid Week?

Christian Aid Week is a powerful expression of what can happen when compassion leads to action.

It's our shared moment to come together – across churches, communities and households – to stand alongside people living in poverty around the world.

For one week each year, thousands of people across the island of Ireland give, fundraise, pray and act together. Together, those actions make change possible.

…urban farmers can grow hope.

In the crowded and bustling settlements of Nairobi, most parents wake every single day knowing that they must go and earn money, otherwise their children won’t eat that evening.

It’s a precarious and frightening daily struggle that no family should have to face.

Where hardship means hunger

…urban farmers can grow hope.

In the crowded and bustling settlements of Nairobi, most parents wake every single day knowing that they must go and earn money, otherwise their children won’t eat that evening.

It’s a precarious and frightening daily struggle that no family should have to face.

But with tools and training from our partner, Beacon of Hope, parents are farming vegetables in a small city plot to feed their families and earn an income.

Together, we must support families escape the cruel grip of urban poverty.

Will you support someone like Fridah to grow food, protect their children from hunger, and nurture hope?
